Swisscom increases footfall with the help of the digital lucky wheel

The Observation

Though Swisscom already has one of the highest visitor rates of all telcos in Switzerland, they did not want to rest on their laurels and asked us to create a drive-to-store solution around a mobile digital lucky wheel concept.

The Solution Design

The solution we built was a self-standing, easy to set up plug&play digital slot machine that was triggered by QR-codes which either can be obtained by street promoters or store staff, or via regional social media campaigns. Once scanned, the lucky wheel starts spinning until the win is announced on screen, with a winning ticket printed instantly after.

The Result

In conjunction with either promoters or regionalised social media campaigns, the drive-to-store ratio could be increased by anything between 8 and 24%, an impressive number!
