One of our favourites: the o2 interactive Favoriten tablets

The Observation

Increasing footfall and engaging customers entering a telco store and generating incremental impulse sales is not an easy task in a telco environment. The German o2 team of Telefonica asked us to help them in achieving these goals.

The Solution Design

A highlight table was created quite centrally in the store landscape, on which up to four mostly innovative products are on display. To glorify these items, and in order to allow the visitor to engage, a small touch screen was embedded into the furniture in front of each of the displayed products. A loop video invites the user to interact. Once the display is touched, a menu opens providing a selection of all relevant information, prices and tariffs included, allowing the user to browse at her leisure.

The Result

With our CMS allowing for status and anonymous click monitoring, we could deliver a very intuitive experience that did not only help to sell the promoted products, but also provided insights e.g. about product preferences and interest. Strong click performances prove the high level of interactions.
