Lift & learn experiences at o2

The Observation

Engaging, entertaining and educating telco store visitors is important in order to make them return more often and increase their shopping basket beyond their smartphone and tariff. With that mission, o2 turned to us asking to assist them building an interactive gadget demo for their German shops.

The Challenge

Our solution consisted of a lift+learn experience platform consisting of three small stages to glorify the products, each stage equipped with two illuminated touch-sensitive buttons. A 32-inch screen mounted behind the stages shows relevant content videos or information charts related to each button scenario. All interactions are being anonymously tracked. Content can be updated over the air when products on display, price or other information would change.

The Solution

A very easy deployment that resulted in the desired amount of interactions and add-on purchases. Alternative sensing technology such as lift and learn, gesture, tactile buttons, RFID and more are equally feasible solutions as part of our offerings.
