The Observation
Rio is the largest beverage retailer in Switzerland with several thousands of items to offer in their stores, coupled with first class customer advice and a great shopping experience. The goal was to digitize pricing without dropping the rich information displayed on each label about the beverage on display.
The Solution Design
We worked out a digital price and information display concept that allows anything from space-saving multiple items per ESL to product information in much detail for e.g. wines and whiskies pointing out origin, grapes, taste and smell, finish, and more. From small 1.6'' to very large 12.2'' ESL.
The Result
After a successful pilot period, the rollout commenced and is under way. The results of this picture perfect implementation are very visible, with happy employees who now can take even more time for advising their customers about the excellent beverage choices to make.
