The Observation
Swisscom has been our customer using, among others, our digital pricing app since 2016. But they had still been pricing accessories and gadgets with paper labels. As part of its sustainabiliy efforts, they were seeking for a solution to also replace those paper labels by a digital solution.
The Solution Design
Our ESL offering is particularly attractive for mobile network operators, as we understand their needs to promote more than just a device price. It is about tariffs, bundles, promotions and variations between existing and new customers, young audiences, etc. The ESL offering also needs to cater for a range of applications from near device to peg hook pricing, special designs and fixtures.
The Result
After a few store pilot, Swisscom quickly decided we are their partner of choice and deployed ESL across their entire store network, saving hundreds of thousand of cost every year since in terms of printing and deploying paper price labels, becoming way more versatile with regard to short-term price variations and ultimately yet more competitive.
